Local Cherry Blossoms, Day 6

The local cherry blossoms continue to look beautiful. While the rate of petals falling to the ground is increasing, the majority of blossoms are still on the trees. They still look as good as they did the day they bloomed!

The sun was shining brightly today, resulting in a different appearance compared to the last two days when the skies were overcast. The blossoms here have a few shades from pure white to a pinkish hue. This difference in color seems to be more apparent when well illuminated.

The first trees to bloom are the first to start losing their petals. They have only lost a relative few but they’re starting to pile up in places. These are from the largest tree in the neighborhood which was the second tree to bloom. The petals are collecting between the mulch and grass.

The Plum Blossoms are maintaining their appearance pretty well! They’re definitely very similar to the cherry blossoms yet quite different when looking carefully.
