Local Cherry Blossoms, Day 2

Yesterday, a huge number of cherry blossoms opened up for the first time this spring! In the evening, a band of heavy rain moved through and brought with it high winds and cool temperatures. Luckily, the blossoms did not appear to be negatively impacted at all!

The fresh blossoms are not as delicate as they appear! We didn’t see any significant numbers on the ground and saw that many more had bloomed since yesterday morning.

There are quite a few branches full of buds without flowers and a few trees that haven’t bloomed yet at all. They all look like they’re about ready to come out though!

The plum blossoms also looked quite beautiful today as well, just as they did yesterday. There are still plenty more that need to bloom!
